Hi there teammates!
First of all, let us apologize for getting this update to you so late. Sometimes our work, school, travel, Molly duties, and just life get in the way! I wanted to write the update this time to share with you our focus of the week, which is thankfulness. In the past month, our community has lost four of its warriors in three separate incidences. This has been a huge blow to the Naval Special Warfare family and reminds us of the danger that these brave men face nearly every day. I hate that more families have to endure the pain of losing a husband, father, son, brother, friend. But, it is also times like these that make me reflect on just how fortunate I am in so many aspects. So, during your training this week, take some time to focus on all the positive things in your life. No matter how stressful or dim your day may be, there is always something to be thankful for. The fact that we live in our great, free country and that we are healthy enough to take on the challenge of this running race are a good start.
